RBC Wealth Management Appoints US Equity Specialist Firm For Fund

The international division of RBC Wealth Management has appointed Cornerstone Investment Partners, the Atlanta-based investment management firm specialising in US equities, as investment manager of the US core equity class of RBC Regent Strategy Fund.

Cornerstone manages about $2.2 billion in assets for public pension plans, corporations and individuals, RBC Wealth Management said.

RBC Regent Fund, which serves the high net worth individuals of RBC’s international wealth management platform, has specialised fund managers running its 12 separate equity classes.

“We believe that Cornerstone’s investment style is an excellent fit with the RBC Regent Fund’s aims and objectives, which comprise diversification of investments, easy access to global markets and good value,” said David McFadzean, head of manager research at RBC Wealth Management.

“We focus on rigorous manager selection to deliver the best solutions to our clients.”

RBC Wealth Management is part of Royal Bank of Canada. Its international arm services over 35,000 high net worth individuals and institutions.
